Built by R and W Hawthorn, Leslie and Co. Ltd, Hebburn-upon -Tyne in 1971. 7,479gt, 455 feet. Transfered to Glen Line in 1935 as Glenfinlas. A busy war as she was bombed off Harwich in 1941, bombed and set ablaze 18 months later during Operation Torch in North Africa. Settled on the bottom and raised in 1943. Back to China Mutual in 1947 as Elpenor. Back to Glen Line in 1950 as Glenfinlas. Demolished at Blyth in 1952 |
